Not much to see here yet. There won't be in-depth Tankspot videos for some time yet. We'll have to figure stuff out ourselves!

Even the kill order for bosses is unknown so far, as there appears to be optional bosses.

In the meantime you can check out the loot and bosses here: http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.php?page=862

Since the other thread is starting to get bogged down with the Hardmode babbling I'm doing, let's move hardmode discussions here.

First: I did some thinking on Hardmode priority.

Prioritities when looking at this:

1) Top priority is to unlock Algalon.

2) Second is to get loot, to make the hard modes easier to manage.

Keep in mind that this is a priority list, not a list forcing us to go this path.

After Yogg+4:

 1. Hodir

 2. Thorim

 3. Freya+3 ...

Right, so Anub'arak has returned from the pits of a 5 man instance, most likely via some uber underground tunnel, and PTR has started pwning his backside for the time being.

The raid seems to be a very 'traditonal' fight, One tank on boss and another on adds, with the addition of Perma frost which hangs over head. From what I have gathered its perma frost all the way till P2 (the folks kept mentioning P2) that hangs over head. Ofcourse no idea if they is a tank debuff, such as Kologarns, ...

The new long-term goal of WMD is to get to a place where we can tackle hard modes every single raid.

In my opinion, normal modes are just warm-ups for the real content. Hard modes are more fun and more rewarding. Over the coming months we must make changes to ensure all raids become hard mode raids. I don't want an A and B team forever. They're just temporary measures and I don't like them. I want one big team where everybody is able to do hard modes.

This means creating more hard ...

I am proposing a change to the ranks in WMD.

I am proposing that we scrap the current 'full member' and 'reservist' ranks and replace them with 'Hard Mode Raider' and 'Raider' ranks.

'Hard Mode Raiders' will always get a raiding slot (if they sign-up).

A “Hard Mode Raider” is defined as someone with the gear and experience to tackle hard mode kills.

Raids with less than 9 'Hard Mode Raiders' signed up will not attempt to do hard modes, unless they're extremely easy ...

Basic Numbers:

Melee Hit Cap: 8% against raid bosses.

Spell Hit Cap: 17% against raid bosses.

Dual Wield Suggested Cap: 13%, this be enough to guarantee most of your spells (shaman) or all of your poisons (rogue) hit the target.

This is the thread for all tanking discussion about gear/specs/classes/problems.

I have written a basic guide for all tanking classes at the top. Please add your knowledge and corrections.

Basic Numbers:

Defence Cap: 540

Melee Hit Cap: 8% (7% with a space goat in the party)

Expertise Cap: 26

Note 540 defence is not the “cap” for defence, it is the minimum required to tank in a raid. Defence still increases your chance to dodge beyond 540.

The Crusaders’ Coliseum will include:

I'm happy to spend up to 1500g on enchanting mats + free abyss crystals.

What I need to know first is what enchants you'd most like to have in the raid bank--your top 3. They can be expensive ones such as accuracy or berserking, that's not a problem, (as long as we have ...

Already mentioned this to Cardinal, but I wanted to take a moment of everyone else's time to say that WMD is truly the best raid group I've ever been a part of. I know that my part is a small one being reserve, but you've all made me feel very welcome, so thank you for that.

The organisation of this group is by far and away the best I've seen. You're so efficient, so easy going. It's an absolute pleasure to raid with you all, however often I get to go.

Much <3.

WoW.com linked to this nice blog article on Guild Leadership and it inspired me to start a discussion on how WMD is working.

I'd say our biggest problem at the moment is attendance. We have no real way of tracking attendance, as signup threads get removed after a raid (not necessarily a bad thing!). We have the combatlogs, but they don't list reservists who did sign up but couldn't come to a full raid. I do know that Cardinal has been watching attendance closely of late. So my question is, ...
