Is it just me that doesn't get taken back to the portal by clicking on the big WMD?

For me http://wheremurlocsdare.com/ = portal

http://wheremurlocsdare.com/index.php (where clicking on WMD goes) = forum only

Yeah I removed that and added a portal link instead. Forgot to mention it.

Upload a copy somewhere and ill add it see what it looks like.

Did you get anywhere with the side Murloc pics? I am also planning to remove that green banner me thinks.

I like what you've done there, you seem to have scratched it up quite nicely since I last looked? (Or my memory has failed again).

Try taking some chunks out of the letters, really disfigure them, as if parts had been broken off.

Currently traced a murloc although I need to get permission from the person that uploaded it in order for us to use it on our site. There should be an uploaded copy a few posts back in this thread somewhere.

Your memory is getting a little fuzzy there Card, I had tried removing parts but it all looked too unconvincing and done on purpose. I'll have another bash at it sometime today. I am a perfectionist at heart, so anything I create has to be 100% perfect for me to even think about liking it =p

Show me the version with chunks removed and I'll let you know what I think. I'm on MSN all afternoon today.

I do believe that the permissions to post "news" might be a little on the generous side...

Hey D, can you give me the exact hexadecimal code for the background colour of the main page please (The grey colour behind the logo).

Just looking, that's a strip of this image - it's not actually a single solid grey, it's darker and lighter stripes...

While spanking the monkey (or flicking the bean) is always a fun diversion, I'm not sure that it'd help here.

Wouldn't it work, though, to either use a transparent background, or paste a strip of that background image underneath your own image rather than just plain grey?

Yup, either one could work. Transparent would probably be the best as whatever the background colour would change to would be the colour of the logo's background. Therefore minimalising the need to redo the logo whenever there is a colour change.

Just strip out the background, do what you want. I can upload any pics you need just let me know

The top header is a singular entity so it wont effect anything else
